Julie McDonald has lived in Maine since 2007. “From away,” the first time she came to the state she had to be dragged kicking and screaming back onto the airplane when it was time to leave, eventually moving here to stay. She has 3 children, 2 step-children, and after inheriting Murphy to love as part of a package deal when she got married, has since taken in two Sharpei-Lab mix rescues as well. She and her husband and their children reside in the greater Portland area.
