About the Authors

The Fenkel family lives in the Philadelphia suburbs and wanted to share their story of cooking for a local homeless shelter every Thanksgiving. Through Gobbles, they hope to raise awareness of the power we each hold to make a difference in the lives of others. The Fenkels have also started an ongoing community service project they call “SERVE,” whereby they invite family, friends and community members with them to serve meals to residents of local homeless shelters. Their goal is to share the joy of serving with as many people as possible. Start SERVE in your community.

About the Illustrator
